On Thursday, May 5th join Rochester-based Holocaust survivor Helen Levinson and other Ithaca-based Holocaust survivors for a candle lighting ceremony, Ithaca Children's Choir performance, and the chance to hear her story. A reception will follow the presentation.

The School of Business is pleased to announce a lecture by Dr. Erdogan Gunes, Professor of Agricultural Economics-Ankara University, titled “Agricultural Credit System: A Case Study of Turkey”. Ithaca College students have been working in teams on topics ranging from the environmental history of extreme weather events in Ithaca, the evolution of ground transportation in the region, and the impact of exotic species on the landscape and economy since the 1960s.

The Division of Educational Affairs seeks a graduate program chair or tenured faculty member teaching in a graduate program to serve as Faculty Coordinator of Graduate Studies. The responsibilities of this individual are to liaise among graduate programs, facilitate inter-professional opportunities, lead strategic planning/vision, monitor costs and effectiveness of graduate marketing strategies, and advocate for graduate programs institutionally. The individual will serve as a member of the Graduate Council. In this role, the individual will report to the Vice Provost for Academic Programs.

 

This position is a three-year appointment starting in fall 2016, with possibility of renewal. The individual selected will be reassigned for 3 credits of teaching each semester to complete these duties and will receive a stipend of $3,500 for summer work.
