Under the Technology Renewal Program, Ithaca College provides current computing hardware to support an up-do-date and reliable computing environment for faculty, staff and students. At the same time, the college is committed to managing its technology resources in an organized and cost-effective manner. To that end, ITS recently undertook the process of evaluating the life-cycle of all supported computers and network printers in the renewal program. We found that Apple MacPro tower computers and HP networked laser printers in particular are reliable past their current replacement intervals, allowing us to stretch the replacement cycles of these devices.

Commencing Ithaca College Theatre’s 2012–2013 main-stage season is Tracy Letts’s “Man from Nebraska.” Performances will run in the Clark Theatre in Dillingham Center on Oct. 2, 4–6, and 9–13 at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinee performances on Oct. 7 and 13. There will be a free talk-back presentation following the Oct. 13 matinee.

Tracy Letts, author of “August: Osage County,” presents the story of Ken Carpenter, a middle-aged man from the middle of America who discovers he's lost his faith. Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, “Man from Nebraska” follows Ken on a journey away from home, during which he examines his faith and how people choose what they believe.

The Working Parents Affinity Group (WPAG) provides different perspectives on integrating work and our families as working professionals. This group is co-facilitated by two moms who work here on campus and who are interested in developing a resourceful place for other working parents to come together and share with one another based on ideas that YOU provide!!

Microsoft has released a cumulative security update to Internet Explorer in response to the zero day vulnerability released last week.  You must run Windows Update and restart your computer for the update to take effect.
