Ithaca College staff or faculty members who completed the GE Corporate Payment Services procurement and/or travel card online application process, and had their application approved before October 5, should receive their travel cards by the end of this week.

Travel cards will still be mailed to cardholder campus addresses, but procurement cards will be mailed directly to the Accounts Payable office and then distributed to your campus address. (Previously we stated that all cards would be mailed directly to cardholder campus addresses.)

Faculty performers from the Ithaca College School of Music will give a free concert on Wednesday, Oct. 10, to celebrate Daniel Pearl World Music Days. Beginning at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music, the concert will be one of hundreds of performances held in more than 60 countries to remember the Wall Street Journal reporter murdered by extremists in Pakistan five years ago.

The Kavafian-Schub-Shifrin Trio -- performing on violin and viola, piano, and clarinet respectively -- will give this year's performance in the annual Shirley and Chas Hockett Chamber Music Concert Series at Ithaca College. Named after two longtime educators, the series honors the Hocketts' love of music and devotion to Ithaca College and its School of Music.
