Producers Patrick Farrelly and Kate O’Callaghan, whose documentary Left of the Dial, an account of the first self-proclaimed left-wing commercial radio station in the U.S., will screen their piece at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15 in the Park Auditorium. A question-and-answer will follow the screening.

Left of the Dial aired on HBO earlier this year to unanimous praise.

Cell Phone Film Fest

In today's media marketplace, it's all about thinking small and mobile. That's the premise of "Cellflix," the first student film festival for movies shot entirely on a cell phone. The contest is being sponsored by the Park School of Communications, which has invited high school and college students to submit a 30-second movie on a subject of their choice for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000.

Concert of Hundley Songs

Composer Richard Hundley will coach Ithaca College School of Music vocal and piano majors on sixteen of his compositions, which will be performed Tuesday, November 8 at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. The event is free and all are welcome.

Mask Exhibition

Associate Professor Norm Johnson from the department of Theatre Arts
had a mask from "Antigone," selected for the juried exhibition at the Museum of Art on
the campus of the University of Southern Illinois at Carbondale as part
of the "Masks of Transformation Conference" held October 5 - 8, 2005

This was the 2nd National Conference on Masks with Mask Exhibitions,
Workshops, and Performances.


Ithaca's official enrollment for fall 2005 numbered 6,412 students including 6,098 undergraduates and 314 graduate students. Undergraduate enrollment was virtually on target compared to last November’s projection of 6,087. Graduate enrollment , on the other hand, increased significantly.
