If you missed it during the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in October, Blue Vinyl, the award-winning eco-documentary, will again be shown on Tuesday, January 11, at 7:00 pm in the Klingenstein Lounge in the Campus Center.

Blue Vinyl is described as a toxic comedy look at vinyl, the world's second-largest-selling plastic.

LGBT Legislative Issues Update

"Out for Info: An update on state and federal legislation and policy issues regarding LGBT people," will be the first in the Spring 2005 Colloquium Series for the Center for Faculty Excellence. Presented by Lisa Maurer, coordinator of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Education Resources Center, this update will be given on Thursday, January 27, 12:10-1:00 p.m. in Clark Lounge.

Professor Christopher Harper has been invited to present a paper and lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the role of Web logs, or "blogs," and their impact on journalism and the political process. Harper, the Park Distinguished Chair in the School of Communications, has written extensively about the role of digital journalism.
