2003 Summer Hours Policy

Introducing Summers Hours 2003
I am pleased to announce that the College will adopt summer hours for 2003. The College's official business hours will end earlier on Fridays -- at 3:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m. -- thus providing many of our employees a chance to get a head start on the summer weekends.

Alumnus Wins Kentucky Derby!

Ithaca graduate Jackson Knowlton '69 is one of the principal owners of Funny Cide, winner of the 129th Kentucky Derby. Knowlton and five high school friends got together several years ago to form Sackatoga Stables; they own three racehorses including Funny Cide, whom they purchased for $75,000 last year.

Thirteen members of the Ithaca College-Ithaca Fire Department Wellness Partnership competed in the Ithaca YMCA triathlon on May 4. This was the first time members of the Ithaca Fire Department participated in an event of this kind and is testament to both the success and continued enthusiasm for this wellness initiative.

The Ithaca women's outdoor track and field team won its sixth straight New York State Collegiate Track Conference title at this weekend's state championship meet at St. Lawrence. The Bombers won six events and Matt Belfield was named NYSCTC Coach of the Year for the third year in a row.
