Ithaca College Theatre presents The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde as the final production of the 2002-3 season. The show will be staged at 8:00 p.m. on April 22 and April 24 through April 26. There will be 2:00 p.m. matinees on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27. All performances will take place in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center.

For some people survival is a much more serious prospect. Local Southern Tier hospital patients count on volunteer blood donors like you to make their "survival" possible. Every two seconds, somebody needs blood.

Benefit Auction for Make-A-Wish

The bursar's office is holding a benefit auction on Friday, April 11, for the Celebration of Service. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in honor of Mark Ozminkowski, a 21-year-old former Ithacan who died from cancer in December.

Community Service Awards

We are very excited to announce the winners of the William A. Scoones Community Service Award, the first annual Golden Giraffe awards, and the Rashad Richardson "I Can Achieve" Scholarship. All these winners have now been decided and formal announcement of the awards will occur at the Ice Cream Social at 3:30 pm this Friday, April 11, in the Emerson Suites.
