Dr. Andrew Utterson, Associate Professor of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies, has been selected to serve as the College’s next Ithaca Seminar Coordinator. Dr. Utterson has been a frequent contributor to Ithaca Seminar course offerings and has served on the Ithaca Seminar Steering Committee. Additionally, he has been a member of the Faculty Development Committee, Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee, and Academic Policies Committee. He is presently chair of the Roy H. Park School of Communications curriculum committee and is co-chair of the School’s assessment committee.

José Rogelio Vargas is founder of Ruta Verde Nature Tours, a family tour company that runs Ithaca College's study abroad course to Costa Rica, RLS 27700 Sustainable Tourism. His presentation will discuss the national policies and programs that have made Costa Rica a world leader in sustainable tourism practices.

Dining Services' Retail Locations and Mac's General Store are taking donations at registers to benefit The BackPack Program for The Food Bank of the Southern Tier until Friday, April 20th.

Any amount is accepted, but did you know that a small $3.00 donation will fill a BackPack with food for a child in need? The BackPack Program bridges the gap over the weekend to ensure that a child is guaranteed 3 meals per day while not in school. Donate today at any retail dining register and feed a child in need.
