Educational Psychology ONLINE! 

Looking to fulfill required credits during the May 2018 session (May 14-25) from home? Take Educational Psychology ONLINE through Ithaca College! Ed Psych explores the study of human development from infancy through adolescence, including cognitive and behavioral approaches to learning in the context of school and other instructional situations. Attention is also given to the scientific attitude in relating theory and practice in various educational settings.

 Educational Psychology is required for the Education Studies Minor, for the Teacher Education Preparation program, and also fulfills GE 1: Self & Society, Liberal Arts, and SS.

R Roundtable Discussion

R is a free and multi-functional open-source software environment used across disciplines to facilitate computations.  It is currently being used on campus in many ways such as facilitating research in Physics and Biology, exploring Calculus concepts, and analyzing data in Statistics classes.  “R” you interested in learning more about how faculty and students are using the R software environment in their research and teaching?

The Athletic Training Education Program in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences (HSHP) is proud to continue with year 4 of our unique and exciting educational exchange program with the Institute of Technology, Carlow, Ireland (ITC). Ithaca's accredited AT program formed a dynamic educational and clinical exchange program with ITC's Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy program that sends 2 senior Bomber AT majors to Carlow every fall, and receives 2 4th year Carlow ARTI students each spring. Both programs provide their visiting students with sports medicine related classroom education and clinical experiences with their institutional athletic programs--the only such exchange in the country as of this moment.

This spring, Ithaca College is excited and proud to host Claire Healy, from Graigueswood, Co. Kilkenny and Denise Deering, from Ballywilliam, Co. Wexford, both 4th year ARTI majors from ITC.

Take a trip to Motown USA this spring with Alternative Spring Break! OSEMA is looking for two students who will be 21 years of age before March 10, 2018, and have two years of driving experience to help drive Ithaca College vans for this trip! ASB drivers receive a significant reduction in their trip fee - for this trip students can participate for $50! 

Students will be volunteering with CASS Community Social Services, which serves Detroiters in the areas of food, health, jobs, and housing. Another cool thing about this trip is that IC students get the chance to work alongside students from other colleges around the country! Check out this video from the 2017 trip to learn more about how you make a difference on this trip.
