Voice Mail System Outage, Thursday, July 7th, 5:00-8:00 PMContributed by Karen Compton on 06/23/16 On Thursday, July 7th between 5:00 and 8:00 PM there will be an outage of the campus voice mail system due to maintenance. This will not impact telephone dial tone and general telephone use. The campus Emergency Notification System will continue to function during the voice mail maintenance. Any callers who would reach the voice mail system during this period will receive a recording stating maintenance is ongoing and to call back after 8:00 PM. Kittrell, founding director of the Office of State Grants (OSG), presented “PWI Access, DENIED!” on June 2, 2016 at NCORE 2016 in San Francisco, CA. The NCORE 2016 poster presentation and discussions examined the collective legislative actions that established higher education opportunity programs in PA, NY and NJ; opportunity programs that focus on academically underprepared and economically disadvantaged students; the majority of students are considered ethnic minorities. In part, these programs were designed to facilitate access to a college education and to increase the number of historically underrepresented students attending independent colleges and universities that are considered predominately white institutions (PWIs). I first want to extend my deepest condolences to her family, especially her daughter, Adelaide Gomer, and son, Roy H. Park Jr. The family has scheduled a celebration of her life for next Thursday, June 30, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 315 N. Cayuga St. in Ithaca. Read more . . .
