Whelan on 11/10/15 Ithaca College’s Mock Trial Team A finished second among a field of fourteen teams at the Fourth Annual Friar Faceoff at St. Bonaventure University this past weekend. Ithaca’s A team finished with six wins, one loss and one tie, prevailing over teams from Case Western, Geneseo, and St. Bonaventure. Ithaca’s B team finished with a 2-6 record.

Tickets for Scarcity are free but reservations are required. To reserve tickets, e-mail ictams1@gmail.com and indicate a first and second choice of performance date and time. If you are reserving for more than one person, ALL names of ticket holders must be included in your e.mail in order for a reservation to be completed. All tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be picked up at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the performance. Performance times are 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 14th, Sunday, November 15th, and Monday, November 16th. A 2:00 pm matinee will be offered on Sunday, November 15th. Assessing Communication and Information Needs of Community Dwelling Older Adults in Tompkins County Amy Johnstone, Natalie Lang, Danielle O’Donnell and Kelly Pettigrew, graduate students of the occupational therapy program at Ithaca College invite you to participate in this research study. The title of the study is Assessing Communication and Information Needs of Community Dwelling Older Adults in Tompkins County. The purpose of the study is to identify how older adults (60+) within Tompkins County obtain information and news about the community. The results of this research will be used to provide the Ithaca Area Agency on Aging with information regarding barriers that prevent elders from receiving area information and communicating with others in the community. This information will aid in transforming Ithaca into an age friendly community. The results of this study may be published in scientific research journals and/or presented at professional conferences, however your identity will remain anonymous.
