The Wi-Fi rebuild in Smiddy Hall was recently completed. Our testing shows that Wi-Fi performance is much improved, but we'd like affirmation from the people that use Wi-Fi in that building.

We regret to announce that former member of the Ithaca College Board of Trustees Larry Smith ’69 passed away on April 28 after a hard-fought battle with aplastic anemia and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. A devoted alumnus of IC’s School of Business, he served on the board from 2006 through 2013 and his presence within our college community will be sorely missed.

Gary Sforzo, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Exercise & Sport Sciences.  He is Coordinator of the Clinical Exercise Science degree program and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses related to Exercise Physiology, clinical aspects of exercise physiology, and strength and conditioning.  Dr. Sforzo trains students so they may assist others with improving health and physical performance whether a top athlete or an aging person with limited function.  He supervises student interns preparing for careers in cardiac rehabilitation, wellness, medical fitness, corporate health and fitness, and strength and conditioning.
