At its May meetings, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees elected Lewis “Lee” Bird ’86 and Traci W. Hughes ’85 as term trustees. James E. Taylor ’00, who has served as an alumni trustee since 2017, was also elected as a term trustee. All three will serve for four-year terms. Read more . . . Once again, IC's VITA tax clinic was open for business for a very successful Spring 2021 Tax Season! Four interns from the School of Business volunteered their time in the on-campus clinic, preparing returns for taxpayers in and around the Ithaca area, as well as for IC and Cornell international students in countries around the globe, including Chile, Honduras, Canada, Scotland, Iran, and Turkey, to name a few. Emmy-nominated television creator and producer Liz Tigelaar told some 1,300 Ithaca College graduates that the beauty in life comes in the questions and the unknowns, and to relish being in a moment where there is so much to discover.
