We are anticipating a move-in to the residence halls that looks and feels a little closer to what we have traditionally done in the past, which has always been an incredible way to welcome our students to campus. We need the support of all our community members to make this a successful move-in!

Ithaca College is looking for volunteers on May 8th to have a presence in the community and provide support to students on a day that in the past has typically involved mass gatherings, most commonly known as Kendall Day. Volunteers will be stationed at different locations around Pennsylvania Ave. and Kendall Ave. The main goal of volunteers is to redirect people going to Kendall and Pennsylvania, offering alternative options and providing support. As a community we have worked very hard to keep COVID-19 cases low. Those that volunteer will be helping to keep our community safe.

This application features push notifications to provide timely notice to community members in the event of an emergency, critical incident, and changes to institutional operation. Be sure to catch this performance as the Ithaca College Jazz Ensemble will be performing the winning pieces from the 2020-2021 David P. (’60) and Susan W. Wohlhueter Jazz Composition Contest. The concert will be tonight, Friday, April 30th, 2021 at 8:15pm. Up to 70 students will be permitted to attend the concert live in Ford Hall; all others can view the web stream live at http://bit.ly/icjazzapril30.

The jazz ensemble members all participated in the judging of this year’s contest, which is done anonymously. All of the identifying information in the composer’s submissions is hidden until the winners are decided. This year, entries came from far and wide. 122 pieces were received from 22 countries outside the U.S. and from 28 U.S. states.

A blue Mutual Aid Food Sharing Cabinet is now at IC! Located outside Muller Chapel, this cabinet is a small food pantry open to all IC community members to take or donate non-perishable food items and personal care products. All are welcome to utilize the cabinet or leave items 24/7. 

What can you do to help? Please consider bringing a non-perishable food or personal care item with you the next time you’re on-campus.
