On Sunday, October 7, volunteers with Action for AIDS (formerly the AIDS Working Group) took up their spades and planted 1,500 more spring-flowering daffodil bulbs on campus. This is the eighth consecutive year for this fall bulb planting, and this year's effort brings the number of flowers this group has planted so far to well over 10,000!

The School of Humanities and Sciences is pleased to announce the fall 2007 Educational Grant Initiative Awards. These awards are supported by the generous donations by alumni to the H&S Ithaca Fund.

Thirty-seven applications were received from a variety of departments and programs to support educational opportunities for H&S students; approximately 78 percent of these proposals were funded in whole or part.
