Join the Ithaca College Sexual Violence Prevention Committee for a virtual event series to screen and discuss the Fundamental docu-series created by the Global Fund for Women. Dining Services and IC Muslim Student Association are working together to provide substantial, halal-friendly Iftar meals for on-campus students during Ramadan. The offering includes two hot to-go meals and one cold to-go for Suhoor and will be ready for pick-up at Kosher Korner in Terrace Dining Hall after 5pm for the duration of Ramadan. No meal plan? No problem. The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life will cover the cost of your meals. The tenth annual Wheels for Women benefit cabaret, held on February 27th, was a record- breaking event for the IC student organization. A board comprised of twelve Department of Theatre Arts students, led by seniors Ronee Goldman and Teresa Gelsomini, worked diligently to face the challenges of offering a virtual cabaret.

Ithaca College has been made aware of malicious, automated phone calls that have been received by a number of students over the past several days. The caller expresses concern about the amount of “green boxes that you have been taking,” and states that a “charge will be placed on your account” and “you will no longer be able to register for classes” unless you return the green containers, which are used by Dining Services for take-out meals. How can one develop an ear to recognize power dynamics in audiovisual culture? In this course students analyze the roles sound and music in contemporary culture and media play in shaping our perception of the world. In this interdisciplinary course, we will develop critical listening skills to understand power dynamics in contemporary audiovisual or audio-only media such as podcasts, radio, cinema, television, music videos, and advertisements.
