If you have a valid 2010-2011 permit, parking rules and regulations still apply throughout the summer with these two exceptions: All students with a valid permit may park in W-Lot located on the road leading to the Circle Apartments across from Terrace 6. (271 words) Tompkins County Under Tornado Watch on Thursday, May 26Contributed by David Maley on 05/26/11 The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Tompkins County and other areas of Central New York in effect until 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 26. A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms producing tornadoes in and close to the watch area. Those living in watch areas are advised to monitor weather reports for a possible upgrade to a Tornado Warning, which means that a tornado is indicated by radar or sighted by trained storm spotters.
