The winners of this competition are provided the opportunity to perform with the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra (ICSO). On Sunday afternoon, January 31st, nineteen finalists, having already been selected to perform via preliminary rounds of competition, took the stage in Ford Hall to compete for this honor. The following students were declared winners in the 2016 Ithaca College Concerto Competition: Benjamin Pawlak, a Piano Performance major studying Prof. Greg DeTurck; Ariana Warren, a Vocal Performance & Music Education major, studying with Prof. Carol McAmis; Kathryn Vorel & Kengo Ito, marimbists, Percussion Performance majors, studying with Prof. Gordon Stout.
